It was lucky we started work early today as the day heated up very quickly.
On hand we had eleven volunteers so we could make some inroads into our projects.
We had Trevor Harrison, Duncan Dyer, Sam Knox, Kevin O’Brien, Rob Benson,Nigel Asken, Peter Martin, John Hollebon, Ron Gowing, Di Beechey and Jan Martin.
Projects worked on today was Loose Timber and Rubbish pick up around the course, continued work on the path at the 2nd Tee, hedge Maintenance, removal of weed from the dams, preparation of firewood, clean up of the 4th tee hedge including weeding and whipper snipping, tidy up underneath the clubhouse, cleaning of the paths at the 1st and 10th tees, wedding garden and putting green and practice nets, further weeding and maintenance on the succulent wedding garden, cleaning of the Bush Toilets, maintenance to the 5th tranquility garden, watering of the pots at the 6th tee.
As the temperature increased we were happy to reach morning tea time which we appreciated after a hard mornings work.
YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
