How good is golf. The sun was shining, and we played the men from the Mountain at Magenta Shores. The course was in great shape and the club has done a lot of work to reduce the amount of difficult rough. Still an extremely challengingcourse but you can find your ball most of the time.
I cannot speak highly enough of our opposition. They were competitive but played the game in such a good spirit. Well done to Mangrove Mountain. I played with Mitch who just out drove me on one hole hitting the ball 274 metres into the breeze. I need to get to the gym.
Thanks to Kel and Clive who got called up at late notice and both had wins.
We had a win in A grade 6/1, a square in B grade and C grade lost 2/1. I look forward to our next games in December/January.
