F-Troop morning tea - Rob Benson, Steve Robinson, Kevin O’Brien, Duncan Dyer, Ron Gowing, Steve Hogg, Trevor Harrison, Di Beechey, Peter Martin (John Hollebon and Jan Martin)
We had a very chilly day to work in today which kept our jumpers on.
On hand today were Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Kevin O’Brien, Steve Hogg, Rob Benson, Steve Robinson, Peter Martin, John Hollebon, Ron Gowing, Di Beechey and Jan Martin.
Projects worked on today were loose timber and rubbish pickup around the course, tree maintenance, firewood deliveries, Tidy up under the clubhouse, paths at the 1st and 10th tees, wedding garden and practice nets, weeding of the hedge gardens at the 18th, deadheading of streletzias at the 15th, trimming of crepe myrtle trees at the 4th, trimming of native trees at the 6th, removal of weeds at the 6th, tidy up of 6th tranquility garden, garden maintenance at the 2nd tee, spraying of infected hedges, planting in of two grevillias in the 6th native garden - donated by Barbara Frost and ground cover plants donated by Ron Gowing, weeding of nuisance weed from the fairways.
It was hard to find a warm place to sit for our morning tea, but morning tea was appreciated after a hard mornings work.
