The Golf Event of the day was a Single Stableford for Men and Ladies + Social Clubs.

We had 99 starters.

It was a very cold, cloudy, gusty windy day with a threat of showers and we were waiting for the snow and sleet to arrive.  Our playing partners today were Paul Way and Lauren Smith who were great company which was welcomed as the golf was difficult today. Our champion was Peter who scored a nice 37 points after losing his ball from his drive from the 10th. Paul hit some nice approach shots and Lauren hit some huge big drives and played well in the conditions.

RUNNER UP: Sheena Asken - 36 points

NO NEAREST THE PINS.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: all is quiet on the Western Front due to social distancing - I did not get any information in from other groups however our group had some good 3 pointers, some pars and some good approach shots; my highlights are a real struggle and the best highlight I can come up with is I finished with the same ball I started with. (A bit sad, but it will bring me back next week)
