We had had a cold and windy day for F-Troop today with showers bringing our day to an early end.
On hand we had Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Kevin O’Brien, Rob Benson, Steve Hogg, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, John Hollebon, Ron Gowing, Di Beechey and Jan Martin.
Projects worked on today were loose Timber and rubbish pick up around the course, tidy up under the clubhouse, 1st and 10th tees, practice nets and watering the gardens there, tree maintenance, wood preparation and delivery of firewood, hedge maintenance and garden maintenance at the 12th green garden, cleaning of the bush toilets, weeding the gardens at the 14th greenspace gardens, tidy up of 6th tranquillity garden including treatment of damaged plants, picking up loose timber at the 6th fairway.
Morning tea was a bit rough at the green keepers shed where we were at least out of the rain. (Sorry no photos today).
