F-troop - Monday 2nd March 2020

F-Troop Morning Tea - Trevor Harrison, Paul Scholberg, Terry Coyle, Don Nicholls, Kevin O’Brien, Ron Gowing, Rob Benson, Duncan Dyer, Matt Carroll (Peter Martin, John Hollebon, Nick Goff, Sam Knox, Di Beechey, Jan Martin)

We had 14 volunteers today which was a great help towards our projects. There were a lot of social players on the course today that we needed to dodge, the 37 degree day tested our stamina.

On hand we had Trevor Harrison, Sam Knox, Duncan Dyer, Terry Coyle, Rob Benson, Kevin O’Brien, Nick Goff, Matt Carroll, Ron Gowing, John Hollebon, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin, Di Beechey and Jan Martin.

Projects worked on today were loose timber and rubbish pick up around the course, Hedge maintenance, Firewood preparation and delivery of our first firewood order for the coming winter (if it ever gets here), cleaning up underneath the clubhouse, 1st and 10th tees and wedding garden and practice nets, tidy up of the garden at the 10th tee and the 18th green garden including path tidy up and repairs to the fence, cleaning of the bush toilets, watering of the 14th green space gardens, watering of the pots at the 6th, bike garden, ladies 9th tee, 9th green and wedding garden, weeding of the tranquility garden on the 6th tee, raking the 7th tee, removal of weeds from the dams.

We all earned our morning tea which was appreciated.

Some good news from last weeks theft - the new hose and fittings that was stolen from the 14th bush toilets was found just off the 17th fairway - and is now back in its rightful place.

More good news today - we were donated a Chain Saw by Lorraine Bignall.  Thank you Lorraine! The chain Saw will be put to good use.

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
