We had a lovely cool day today - ideal for playing golf.  The wind got a little blustery but was not too bad.

Our playing partners were Brent Frewin and Anne Forrester with some good highlights the best of which was a birdie from both of the boys.

The Event of the day was a Single Stableford for Men and Ladies + a Team 1 x 2 x 3.

We had 57 starters.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Brent Frewin had a birdie on the 10th; Peter Martin had a birdie on the 18th and came in the winner with 41 points; Anne Forrester had 19 points on the back 9 including 3pointers at the 11th and 13th as well as other good 3pointers; Ray Buttsworth had 4 pointers at the 11th and the 13th; Carolyn Buttsworth had a 4 pointer on the 13th; Fran James had a 4 pointer on the 3rd; Rosalie Dyer had 4/4 on the 6th; Duncan Dyer had 4/4 on the 18th; Vicki.Foster a birdie 4/4 on the 2nd and won nearest the pin on the 5th; Liz Robinson parred the 18th 5/4; Ron Puiatti had 4/4 on the 18th and won nearest the pin on the 8th; Sandra Coyle had 2/4 on the 14th; Lyn Cruickshanks had 5/4 on the 10th; Clyde Cruickshanks had birdies on the 10th and 13th; Terry Coyle had 2 x 3 pointers plus a 4 pointer; Joyce Bosley finished 18 holes and had a 3 pointer on the 18th; Dick Bosley had 4/4 on the13th; Jan Walker had 4/4 on the 13th and 4/3 on the 16th; my highlights were a 4 pointer on the12th, scoring more than 30 points and finishing with the same ball I started with and lastly our team winning the Team Event.
