As predicted the rain continued and the course was unplayable today.

Tomorrow the forecast is more favourable however you will need to check the course conditions for play.  I believe sunshine is on its way but it will be very wet underfoot.

We had 50 + mls of rain today and needless to say the course was drenched.

No golf today and tomorrow could be in doubt if the forecast rain for tomorrow continues.

Sunday is more promising.

Check with the Pro Shop regarding the state of the course and hopefully we will manage to get some golf happening.

We did not have any rain to interrupt our projects this morning.

On hand were Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Kevin O’Brien, Rob Benson, Steve Hogg, Andy Henebury, John Hollebon, Peter Martin, Don Nicholls, Sam Knox, Di Beechey and Jan Martin.

Projects worked on today were tree maintenance, hedge maintenance, tidy up of drains at the 7th, cleaning of signs on the course, tidy up around the clubhouse areas, cleaning of the bush toilets, pick up of pot plant collection donated by Andy and Jann Henebury, weeding and tidying up the green space gardens including fertilising and watering, watering the pots at the 6th, tid6 Up tranquility garden on the 6th, watering bike garden, garden on the 9th ladies tee, pot at the 9th green and pots in the wedding garden.

My apologies to Paul Brennan and Paul Beaven for the mix up of surnames - caused by my hearing problems - I heard Brennan as Beaven. Sorry about that. So it is a welcome to Paul Brennan as a new member of F-Troop.

We appreciated morning tea after a hard mornings work.

 There was a very chilly wind the keep us company this morning.

We had a great number of volunteers for such a cold day - 15 in all.

Projects worked on today were Loose Timber and Rubbish pick up around the course, tidy up around the clubhouse and 1st and 10th tees, delivery of firewood, cutting back the large hedge between the 10th and 18th fairways, clubhouse maintenance, cleaning of the bush toilets, maintenance to other hedges, weeding the green space gardens including fertilising and watering, tidy up of the 6th "tranquility garden, watering the pots at the 6th, bike garden, ladies 9th tee, 9th green and wedding garden pots. 

We escaped the wind for morning tea by retreating into the clubhouse.

We had another chilly start to our F-Troop day - the good news is that the weather is due to improve.

On hand today were Trevor Harrison, Kevin O’Brien, Terry Coyle, Rob Benson, Peter Martin, John Hollebon, Ron Gowing, Andy Henebury, Di Beechey and Jan Martin.

Projects worked on today were the very important job of loose timber and rubbish pick up, hedge maintenance, clean up around the clubhouse, paths at the 1st and 10th tees, wedding garden and practice nets, trimming streletzias at the 15th, seasol to gardens, cleaning bush toilets, tidying gardens in the green space gardens, tidy up timber at the wood heap, tidy up garden at the 6th tranquility garden, watered pots at the 6th, bike garden, ladies 9th tee garden, 9th green pot, wedding garden pots.

We managed to find a sunny spot for our morning tea which we all appreciated.
