F-Troop - Monday 14th January 2019


F-Troop Morning Tea - Don Nicholls, Terry Coyle, Rob Benson, Garry Trigg, Trevor Harrison, Kevin O'Brien, Steve Hogg, Ron Gowing, Di Beechey, Peter Martin, Duncan Dyer, (Jan Martin, Anne Burgess, Andy Henebury)


We got started early to beat the heat on a very humid day.  We had 14 volunteers which was great as there was a lot of work to do on the course and around the Clubhouse today.

On hand we had Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Kevin O'Brien, Steve Hogg, Rob Benson, Terry Coyle, Andy Henebury, Peter Martin, Don Nicholls, Ron Gowing, Garry Trigg, Di Beechey, Anne Burgess and Jan Martin.

Projects worked on today was mainly cleaning up loose timber, rubbish removal, raking and tidy up of tees, tree maintenance, clean up of paths around the clubhouse, wedding garden, 1st and 10th tees and practice nets, cleaning of the 14th bush toilets, maintenance to the wedding gardens, watering of the gardens where possible, tidy up of the 6th tranquility garden, watering the pots at the 6th tee, bike garden, ladies 9th tee garden, tidy up of Ladies 3rd tee steps, finishing off weeding and trimming of the 15th streletzia garden and tidy up of the paths at the 15th tee, weeding the Xuanadu garden, watering the pots in the Wedding Garden, Clubhouse maintenance.

Our morning tea in the shade was appreciated after a hot and hard morning's work.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ANDY & JANN HENEBURY ON THE SAFE ARRIVAL OF THEIR FIRST GRANDCHILD - A BABY GIRL. Andy will be on leave from F-Troop for a few weeks so he can visit his Granddaughter in Tasmania.
