We had a rather humid day for our golf on the Village Green today and thankfully there was some light breeze around to save the day.
Our playing partners were John & Julie Hazzard and we had a very pleasant day enjoying some highlights - the best of which was Peter's birdie at the 16th and John's gobbler at the 16th.
The Golf Event of the day was a Team 1 x 2 x 3 + Single Stableford for Men and Women.
We had 69 starters with 2 visitors from Overseas & Shelly Beach.

HIGHLIGHTS OF TH DAY as reported to me: Wayne Sneade had 20 points on the turn and thought the course was in good order; Eddie Rogers played a good steady game; Grant Williams played the shot of the century - a sandy gobbler at the 17th and had two 4 pointers; Kerry Williams was a good team supporter; Joyce Bosley had 3/4 at the 8th; Clyde Cruickshanks had a birdie at the 15th; Spencer Walklate had 4/3 at the 15th; Lyn Cruickshanks nearly had a birdie at the 8th; Tania Walklate 5/3 at the 3rd & 4/3 on the 8th; Rhonda Robertson & Rosalie Dyer outshone the boys; David Small had a birdie; John Hazzard had a good gobbler putt at the 16th; Peter Martin had a birdie at the 16th; Julie Hazzard had pars at the 5th and the 13th; my highlight was finishing with the same ball I started with after fishing it out of the water twice.
