After the wild winds of last week the course was littered with loose timber from the trees so there were many trips to the dump today. The course was busy with a lot of vets players which added to the project difficulty.
On hand we had Trevor Harrison, Duncan Dyer, Kevin O'Brien, Sam Knox, Garry Trigg, Steve Hogg, John Hollebon, Andy Henebury, Don Nicholls, Peter Martin and Jan Martin.
Projects worked on today were tree maintenance including removal of a large broken branch on the 11th, hedge maintenance, loose timber and rubbish removal, bricking up of the dam wall on the 3rd; clubhouse maintenance, cleaning of the bush toilets, watering and stick pick up at the greenspace gardens, tidy up of the 6th tranquility garden, weeding at the 6th gardens, watering the pots at the 6th, bike garden, ladies 9th tee garden and the 9th green, clean up of the 3rd and 5th tees, clean up of the tees and fairways 1st the 4th, tidy up of the centre garden at the 10th tee, watering the gardens at the 1st and 10th tees and pots in the wedding garden including pick up of sticks tidy up of the 13th tee.
We earnt our morning tea goodies today after a hard morning's work.
