We were not part of the Team Series this year but we still enjoyed a nice day on the Village Green playing in the Medley Single Stableford with Terry Connor & new Member Rob Parry.
We did have some good highlights - the best of which was a birdie from Peter on the 14th but I was impressed with our playing partners Terry & Rob who showed great restraint in female company given Rob was playing for his first score to gain his handicap, they were great company and we did enjoy the day.


The Golf Event of the day was the 3RD ROUND OF THE TEAM SERIES + Medley Single Stableford.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Peter Martin had a birdie on the 14th; Rob Parry hit a great approach shot to the 18th green; Terry Connor had some very good putts that were just sooo close; Steve Cross had a birdie at the 4th; Ray Buttsworth had 5/4 par of the 18th; Lynn Puiatti had 4/4 at the 13th (after being up a drain pipe on the 6th); Vicki Foster sank a 30 foot putt on the 6th for 7/1; Col Matterson on the 4th did not touch the fairway or the green at anytime until he put a gobbler into the hole; Rosalie Dyer had a birdie at the 14th; Lorraine Bignall & Rosalie Dyer beat the boys for the Keno Ticket; Kevin O'Brien had a birdie on the 10th; Duncan Dyer finished; Bruce Binns had a birdie on the 1st hole; Mark Stimpson had birdies on the 2nd and the 18th; Alice Diamond had three 3 pointers on the back 9; Lyn Bates had a birdie on the 13th hole 3/5 after being on the green for two; Terry Coyle had a birdie on the 1st and some good pars; Michael Upton had 42 points; Georgina Lamb had 43 points; Helen Stuart had 5/4 on the 2nd and 21 points on the back 9; Duncan Brown had birdies on 2/4/and 18th including a gobbler on the 4th; Robin Incoll was a steady player; My highlights were enjoying good company and finishing with the same ball I started with and HEY! got more than 30 points 😌
