New Storm Shelter in progress at the 5th

Camellias in Camellia mulched

Camellias in Camellia Way mulched

We had a very frosty start to the morning at 7.00am today.  The course was white and just a tad chilly.

We had some important projects in progress today so it was good to see so many volunteers turn up in these conditions.

On hand we had Trevor Harrison, Duncan Dyer, Rob Benson, Terry Coyle, Steve Hogg, Don Nicholls, John Hollebon, Andy Henebury, Kevin O'Brien, Peter Martin & Jan Martin + helper Joel Martin.

Projects worked on today was progress on the storm Shelter on the 5th; firewood delivery, rubbish & loose timber pickup around the course, hedge maintenance, cleaning out of the drain on the 7th tee;
cleaning of the bush toilets; mulching of the camellias in Camellia Way between the 17th green and the 18th tee to protect the new trees from damage from the rabbits after the protective tyres were removed; watering of the pots on the 6th tranquility garden, the bike garden, the garden at the ladies 9th tee and the pot at the 9th green. Watering has also been done at the 1st and 10th tee gardens, wedding garden and the putting green gardens.

We were looking for sunshine to enjoy our morning tea this morning so we could defrost.

Members should note the blocked toilets at the 14th have been maintained by the Greenstaff.

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
