The Golf Event of the day was a Ladies Single Par.

We had 20 starters.

Thursday Evening the club closed at 5.30 pm to allow for a Private Function run by Gosford Rotary Club to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Battle of Villers-Bretonneux

The club was well attended both by Rotary Members, Legacy and other interested patrons including our Local Member Lucy Wicks.  Unfortunately there was a last minute cancellation of the attendance of the French Ambassador due to no fault of his own, who was programmed to speak.

were in full use 

I thought I had a scoop getting a video of the Rotary Dignitaries arriving by helicopter for the 100th Anniversary celebrations.  Alas......

Unfortunately for someone it was the hospital helicopter on business landing on the new helipad on top of the newly extended Gosford Hospital.
