Our endless summer has continued - thank heavens without the wind today.

We had 14 volunteers today which really did help with the massive pick up project which was our main objective.

On hand were Sam Knox, Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Kevin O'Brien, Don Nicholls, Garry Trigg, Terry Coyle, Rob Benson, Andy Henebury, John Hollebon, Mark Stimpson, Peter Martin, Di Beechey and Jan Martin.

We had a lot of work to do and managed to do well with our projects which included removal of the damaged tree on the 18th fairway, maintenance to the hedges, maintenance to the watering systems, pick up of loose timber and rubbish from around the course, work done towards the storm shelter on the back of the 5th fairway, cleaning of the bush toilets & watering the green space gardens, watering the gardens around the clubhouse, wedding garden & putting green, delivery of firewood, watering the pots at the 6th tranquility garden and back of the 5th green, bike garden, pick up of loose timber at the 3rd ladies tee and 5th tee, 4th hedge, watering the ladies 9th tee garden, a start made on weeding the garden at the back of the 14th green, watering the Xanadu garden, 1st and 10th tee gardens & dead heading of the roses at the putting green.

We looked forward to our morning tea after a hard morning's work.

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
