Ladies Garden at the 13th Tee given a tidy up
Today was a very big day at F-Troop working our way around Vets and social players.
We had 13 volunteers which helped to work through our various projects.
On hand today were Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Kevin O'Brien, Garry Trigg, Rob Benson, Terry Coyle, Don Nicholls, Sam Knox, Ron Gowing, Andy Henebury, Peter Martin, Di Beechey & Jan Martin.
Projects worked on today were preparation of firewood, tree maintenance, trimming shrubs, cleaning bush toilets and watering the green space gardens, more painting of the Wedding Gazebo, cleaning up the paths at the 1st & 10th tees, cleaning up around the clubhouse, watering the gardens around the clubhouse, wedding garden and 1st & 10th tees, planting in of new plants at the roundabout garden near the putting green, rubbish and loose timber pick up around the course, watering the pots at the 6th tee, bike garden and 9th tee, tidy up of the 6th tranquility garden, watering the hedge on the 4th tee, maintenance to the water bubbler at the 17th; tidy up of the 13th Ladies garden, preparation for new roofing on the bush toilets, tidy up the Ladies 3rd Tee steps, tidy up around the 18th tee.
Morning Tea was very welcome and our thanks go to Barto for his continued support of F-Troop.
