(Rome was not built in a day)
Following yesterday's heatwave it was surprising to find most of our volunteers on hand for a busy morning.
We had Trevor Harrison, Duncan Dyer, Kevin O'Brien, Terry Coyle, Steve Hogg, Garry Trigg, Don Nicholls, Andy Henebury, Sam Knox, Ron Gowing, Mark Stimpson, Peter Martin, Di Beechey & Jan Martin.
Projects worked on today were the removal of a tree on the 6th fairway that was hit by lightning and removal of a diseased tree on the 17th fairway, watering of as many gardens as we could get around, tidy up around the clubhouse, 1st and 10th tees, removal of rubbish and loose timber around the course, watering of pots, removal of old scrap metal, clearing out of container, changing the flat tyre on the yellow cart, cleaning up of path weeds.
Morning Tea was appreciated as the day was warming up rapidly to a nice 35 degrees.
YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
