With special memories today of all our soldiers who have fought for our country - ANZAC Day.
Our playing partners were Mark Stimpson and Alice Diamond and we did have some great highlights - the best of which was Alice coming in with a brilliant 40 points, 8 three pointers and an added bonus we thrashed the boys for the Keno Ticket.
The Golf Event of the day was a Medley Single Stableford.
We had 68 starters.
RESULTS:
WINNER: John Day - 44 points
RUNNER UP: Spencer Walklate - 43 points
3RD: Bryce Wright - 41 points
4TH: Alice Diamond - 40 points
GROSS WINNER: John Day - 31 points

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Alice Diamond scored a lovely 40 points with some great putting and chip shots scoring eight 3 pointers; Lorraine Bignall hit her 3rd shot out of the left bunker on the 15th and into the hole to score 3/4; my one and only highlight was a 3 pointer on the 1st hole and I did finish with the same ball I started with. Another highlight for all of us was finishing golf before the wet weather set in - that was a definite bonus.
