We had a lovely day on the Village not-so-green with some good cloud cover and a nice breeze to keep the temperature down. Our playing partners were Gary and Helen Smith who were great company. We had some good highlights with a lot of three pointers along the way which cheered up our day.
The Golf Event of the day was a Medley Teams Event - Best two scores to count + Single Stableford for Men and Ladies.
We had 77 starters with 1 visitor from Massey Park.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Wally Bailey scored a great 46 points after being in the wilderness for a long time (2010 was mentioned); Kathy Small had a birdie on the 12th hole after a great drive; we came in last in the field today so I did not have time to gather more highlights - my highlight was not wiping a hole and winning a ball.
Please note for next Sunday's competition: there will NOT be Pennants Matches played at Gosford. The tee times will be as previously advised off both tees as on the log in booking sheets and will not be changed to the 10th Tee. Members please check your tee times.
