The Sue Suters Ovarian Cancer Fund held their 6th annual golf and dinner charity day at the Gosford Golf Club.
104 golfers were in attendance and enjoyed a fabulous day on our course with sublime weather. As per normal the course was in super condition due to the efforts of the ground staff.
The winners were the team of Luke Suters, Sam Brown, Tom O’Gorman and Josh Scholberg. As a matter of fact they also won the mystery picture competition.
The dinner experience after golf for all those that were smart enough to book was magnificent. Chef Shea, sous chef Ben and their staff produced a wonderful two course meal that would rival any restaurant on the coast.
We had the pleasure to have Liesle Tesch as our guest speaker and the audience was enthralled by her story. Rod Amos, our auctioneer extraordinaire, produced more results for the items than anyone would have expected.
As a small charity we have to thank all our sponsors, participants and the staff of the Gosford Golf Club. We raised over $42.000,00 and that is all because of you.
Since this was conceived as a little golf tournament, with no great expectation we have raised over $240.000,00. All this money will be given to people on the Central Coast. So a big thanks to all of you.
