The weather was semi okay today for the 3rd Round of the Team Series - Our day started well but deteriated towards the end of the day with late showers/rain that upset our last few holes. Our Team playing partners were Marianne Lanham and Paul Scholberg who were great company. After a shaky start we picked up our game and finished with a team score of 110 (302 over 54 holes) which brought us in at 3rd place in the Team Series with the additional highlight of Marianne winning the Ladies 54 hole Singles with her steady play and winning nearest the pin on the 5th hole.
The Golf Event of the day was the 3rd and Final Round of the Annual Mixed Team Series proudly sponsored by SRIXON.
We had 72 starters.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Marianne Lanham had 6 pars and a birdie including a 4 pointer on the 2nd and winning nearest the pin on the 5th; Paul Scholberg played consistent golf including some good 3 pointers; Peter Martin did not lose a ball and won nearest the pin on the 14th; Christine Drakeford had a 4 pointer on the 9th; Ross Drakeford hit a shot on the 10th that landed on the full on top of Christine's ball; Ron Puiatti had 2 birdies and many pars; George Foster was 2 under par after 4 holes and turned with 24 points; Duncan Dyer was an improved golfer from yesterday doubling his score today; Clyde Cruickshanks had 3 birdies including a 4 pointer; Kathy Small had 21 points on the second nine; Wally Robertson had 4/4 on the 9th and birdied the 10th; Bert Brink had 21 points on the front 9; Annie Brink was happy with her 35 points; John Hazzard enjoyed a good breakfast; Laurie Bentlin had 21 points at the turn; Brent Frewin had birdies at the 1st and 2nd; Joyce Bosley had 3/4 at the 8th; Cameron Moreton had a birdie on the 15th; Carolyn Buttsworth had a 4 pointer on the 4th; Lorraine Bignall had a 4 pointer on the 9th; my highlight was having 4 pointer on the 3rd after a nice chip in, no wipes and winning a ball.
