The weather today was a perfect winters day - chilly at times but sunny and comfortable for most of it.
Our playing partners today were Neville and Jan Walker and we had a lovely day on the village green with Jan Walker being the star of the day playing the last nine holes like a champion and scoring 39 points. Pity about the rest of us.

The Golf Event of the day was a 2Ball Aggregte + Singles Men and Ladies.

We had 85 starters with 3 visitors from Longyards, MacArthur Grange and Shelly Beach.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY: I am sorry I did not get around all the tables tonight to collect the highlights.  One that did come to my attention was from Wally Robertson who had a birdie on the 11th doing it easily with a good drive, a wedge to within 8 feet of the hole and he sank the putt!  Wally did not want discuss the rest of his game!  Jan Walker was on the the green for one on the 8th, 12th and 14th holes and won nearest the pin on the 8th; my highlight was driving to the 12th green. Neville Walker had a 4 pointer on the 3rd.
