Shades of Autumn at the 9th Tee

Tibouchina Gardens fertilised and watered

We had twelve volunteers today which was good considering the winter chill has arrived.

On hand were Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Kevin O'Brien, Geoff Bridge, Steve Hogg, Rob Benson, Terry Coyle, Garry Trigg, Peter Martin, Di Beechey, Anne Burgess and Jan Martin.

The tree gang of Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Geoff Bridge, Garry Trigg and Steve Hogg took care of tree maintenance around the course.

Rob Benson and Terry Coyle were kept busy on rubbish pick up around the course.

Peter Martin and Kevin O'Brien did some road maintenance and picked up rubbish around the course and repaired my broken garden sprayer.

Di Beechey and Anne Burgess tidied up around the clubhouse, tidied up the gardens at the 18th and fertilised and watered rhe gardens at the 1st and 10th tees.

I fertilised pots at the club front door, wedding garden, 9th green, bike garden, 6th tranquility garden, tidied the ladies 3rd tee, watered at the 14th bush toilets and cleaned up there, watered the new trees on the 17th, sprayed for grubs at the 14th and the 17th gardens, started to trim back the grub effected plants and raked away the rubbish, fertilised and watered at the 1st and 10th.

We enjoyed our morning tea of savoury breads, sweet breads and cakes - Thank you Barto!

We finished up work in time to watch the playoff for the Mixed Foursomes Championship.

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
