We had a huge day of work to do today after last weeks high wind day there was a lot of loose timber mess around.

On hand we had Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Kevin O'Brien, Rob Benson, Don Nicholls, Garry Trigg. Geoff Bridge, Terry Coyle, John Hollebon, Steve Hogg, Peter Martin, Di Beechey, Anne Burgess and Jan Martin.

We had a lot of players on the course today including 40 odd lady Pennant players so we found as many off course jobs as we could.

The tree gang of Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Kevin O'Brien, Geoff Bridge, Garry Trigg and Steve Hogg prepared the back car park for marking as best they could before all if the cars started to arrive. They managed to get some of the car park marked. They also cleaned down the school fence area and loaded firewood for after morning tea delivery.

Rob Benson and Terry Coyle had the daunting task of rubbish and loose timber pick up around the course and did a great job.

Don Nicholls did some plumbing work in the men's locker room and then helped Peter Martin with rubbish pick up, tidying tees and painting the yellow markers on the tees.

John Hollebon did some trimming and hedging work and tidying up at the 10th and the 8th tees.

Anne Burgess cleaned up the car parks, cleaned up the BBQ area and watered the camellias at the 18th.

Di Beechey cleaned up the car parks, cleaned up the front steps of the clubhouse, watered all if the gardens around the clubhouse, wedding garden and the 1st and 10th tees as well as helping Anne at the 18th.

I worked at the 14th bush toilets, 6th Tranquility garden, Ladies 3rd Tee, bike garden, 4th Tee hedge, Ladies 9th Tee, trimmed the potted plants at the putting green, trimmed the gardenias at the putting green, cleaned out the wedding gazebo, watered the pots at the wedding gazebo and 9th green, tidied the gardens at the 1st and 10th tee filling up three garbage tins of rubbish from the gardens.

We enjoyed our morning tea of assorted savoury breads, sweet breads and cakes - thank you Barto!

After morning tea Peter Martin, Kevin O'Brien and Duncan Dyer did another delivery of firewood.

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
