Notes about the match:
The team travelled to the tricky Everglades course today where there have been some big course changes since we last played there. Nevertheless the day provided some fascinating results. The course was in excellent condition, greens were a little on the slow side however the stand out performance today was from Bert Brink, who after last round played at #6 to win convincingly, then today was thrown to the wolves at #4 and proceeded to demolish his opponent 5/4( Off a Handicap of 15!!). Definitely #1 material soon. Of the others, new member Tim Lafferty had a good win. Geoff Watson tried out his new driver after being given a forfeit and yours truly got lucky on 15 and 16 with a couple of nice 20 foot putts that proved the difference. To Lindsay, John and Chris all I can say is I have seen you all play better but today was not your day. Perhaps when we take on Toukley at Toukley things will turn around. Thanks team for your effort.
