HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Wally and Fay Bailey had pars at the 3rd, 5th, 7th, 10th and 15th; Christine Drakeford had a birdie on the 16th; Helen and Keith Potter are still talking; Jan and Neville Walker had a gobbler birdie at the 2nd; Sam Knox and Di Beechey had a birdie on the "6th"and the 14th; Kevin O'Brien had a birdie on the 15th; Stevie Gregory put Normie Cubis in places she had never been in before; Col Kelly put his ball into the bark of a tree on the 11th fairway and his partner Helen Stuart would not hit it out; George and Vicki Foster had a birdie on the 15th and parred the 12th; Duncan Dyer's highlight was wheeling Vicki's buggy up the fairway while Vicki Foster rode in the buggy with Rosie after Vicki hurt her leg; George and Vicki Foster parred the 12th; Jill Callaghan's highlight was getting over the dam at the 3rd and did star jumps to celebrate and improved after the first five holes of stage fright; Tony and Jill Callaghan had a par on the 14th; Paul and Angelique Scholberg parred the 14th and the 15th; Bruce and Leanne Binns had a Birdie at the 6th; Peter Laybutt contributed an air swing today and claimed medical excuses; Graham Brown could have got a hole in one at the 12th except the pin was too far away from the ball; Terry Coyle drove to the 14th green and has a birdie at the 11th;  Scottie and Tom had some highlights - at one stage they were 3 under;
Our highlights were 1: WINNING THE NAGGERS CUP; having pars on the 1st, 5th, 11th, 12th, 14th, 16th, 17th which did not seem to be a big deal at the time because we kept missing the Birdie opportunities - however the steady play paid off; my personal highlight was Peter not hitting into any bunkers

NO HANDICAPPING TODAY!
