Sorry!  I can't help having a brag about my two beautiful grand daughters Emily and Grace.

We had a very busy day today at F-Troop on a good weather day and a loaded course of Vets players which restricted our use of the course.

On hand was Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Geoff Bridge, Garry Trigg, Warren Gray, Rob Benson, John Hollebon, Di Beechey, Anne Burgess and Jan Martin.

The Tree Gang of Duncan Dyer, Trevor Harrison, Geoff Bridge and Garry Trigg worked down the left hand side of the 17 th Fairway trimming back overgrown trees and shrubs. Later in the morning they finished off moving the two trailer loads of mulch delivered by Geoff Bridge at the 14th Bush Toilets that Di and I had started on.

Warren Gray and Rob Benson did a good job of rubbish removal around the course, secured the fire extinguishers within the clubhouse and painted safety strips on dangerous steps and slopes around the course.

John Hollebon finished off trimming the camellias at the 11th tee and did some maintenance on surrounding trees.

Di Beechey and Anne Burgess planted new grevilleas at the garden at the back of the 5th green, Di then helped me with the mulching of the gardens at the 14th. Anne also weeded the front street gardens, maintained the water feature and watered the pots and gardens at the wedding Garden and 1st and 10th tee.

I Worked at the 14th bush toilets, cleaning up and mulching the gardens there, checked in with the green staff at the 4th tee who are setting up the area for a new hedge, planted two new geraniums at the wedding garden and sprayed the roses at the putting green.

We had all worked very hard all morning and were happy to sit down and enjoy our morning tea with Captain Mark Stimpson and Peter Martin ( on sick leave from F -Troop). Thank you Barto for our morning tea!

It was great to see good weather to make our jobs easier working on our various projects.

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
