We had the most beautiful day to play golf today - blue sky and sunshine at its best. The course is slowly drying out, the fairways are in good order considering their punishment and the greens were beautiful. 

My playing partners were Rae Brown and Helen Smith and we were good players out of luck. Helen had a great gobbler into the hole on the 10th and had the best result so far at the 18th and Rae had a good 4 pointer at the 12th. My highlight was a good shot onto the green at the 17th to let me have a 3 pointer. 

The Golf Event of the day was a Ladies Single Stableford - 3rd Round CCWGA Brooch + Veterans in conjunction.

We had 66 starters.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Helen Smith had a gobbler on the 10th; Rae Brown had a 4 pointer at the 12th; Sharon Anderson putted well and had some good shots to the green for her 38 points; I played last today so did not have time to collect any other highlights today but it was very pleasant out on the course - pity about the golf. Happy Birthday wishes to Kerry Williams today.
