The good news is they chase away the Brown Snakes.
My playing partners today were Leonie Casey and Sharon Denton (Toukley) and we had a lovely day on the village green. We had some good highlights the best of which was Leonie's putting.
The Golf Event of the day was a Single Stableford and 1st round of the CCWGA Brooch + Veterans in conjunction.
We had 68 starters with two visitors from Shelly Beach and Toukley.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Di Thomlinson birdied the 15th; Chris Drakeford had two gobblers; Merran Adams had no wipes and a beautiful sandy out of the 15th bunker into the hole; Carolyn Buttsworth was excited about a 30+ score; Leonie Casey putted well today including sinking a 30 foot putt on the 13th; Marianne Lanham scored a nice steady 36 points; my highlight was playing with good company and finishing with the first ball I started with.
