We were really impressed with the extra helpers we had at the F-Troop Working Bee today and remind our members that it is on again tomorrow and that is just to get the first nine holes playable.

We had 20 volunteers today which was great. The amount of cleanup to be done on the course is almost overwhelming - so some extra hands were very much appreciated.
The chain saws were roaring reducing the large trees to removable sizes. The rakers and picker uppers were busy all morning and we also managed to upright the fallen Olive Trees that may or may not survive the stress.
I understand that Gosford Shire has been declared a disaster area and that is not surprising considering all the trees that have been damaged or destroyed and the power cuts.
The current plan is to get nine holes playable as soon as possible to that golf can go ahead.
The more help we get the sooner the course will be playable.
We hope to see some more volunteers there again tomorrow. We are starting at 7.00 am meeting at the Greenkeepers shed.
