We had some lovely blue sky and sunshine for golf today.
Peter and I had a day off golf today - breakfast at the Martos for the family and then Nanna walked the grandchildren to the railway station to see the trains come and go and also to buy the important iceblock from the railway shop after which a nanny nap was required.
The Golf Event of the day was a Single Stableford for Men and Ladies + Team Best Score for each hole.
We had 61 starters with 2 visitors from Beresfield.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Brent Frewin had 2 birdies and won nearest the pin on the 12th; Anne Forrester had a birdie on the 14th; Lorraine Bignall had 4/4 on the 17th and was an improved putter; Tania Walklate had a gobbler on the 16th; Garry Trigg had a nice round of 41 points; Wally Bailey played beautifully for his 48 points which included a lot of 3 pointers and no wipes.
