We had a great day for golf today - blue sky and sunshine with just enough cooling breeze to keep us comfortable.

Our playing partners were Garry and Doreen Trigg and we had a lovely day on the village green.  We had some good highlights including two birdies from Garry, a gobbler sandy shot at the 11th from Peter, multiple 3 pointers from Doreen who was piped on a count back to win the Ladies Singles and beaten by 16 cms for nearest the pin at the 8th. The boys beat the girls for the Keno Tickets by one caused by Garry's birdie at the 15th!!!!!

The Golf Event of the day was a Team Stableford 1X 2 X 3 plus Single Stableford for Men and Ladies.

We had 66 Starters with 3 visitors from Pacific G.C., Everglades and Nambucca Heads.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Garry Trigg had birdies at the 10th and The 15th; Peter Martin had a gobbler Sandy out of the bunker on the 11th; Doreen Trigg had seven 3 pointers; Kathy Small had 4 pointers at the 1st and the 12th; Walter Losche had a birdie at the 16th; Sue Waugh had a birdie 2/4 at the 5th; Julie Hazzard had a gobbler 4/3 at the 16th; Alice Diamond was on the 7th green for 2 with a great chip shot and scored 4/3 ; Team of Walker and Cross scored 14 points at the 3rd; Jan Walker had 3/4 at the 14th; Anne Forrester had a lot of 3 pointers and scored a nice 39 points to win the day; Dick Bosley scored two 4 pointers and 7 3 pointers for his brilliant 46 points; Jan and ELLY Van Den Berg scored 2 x 4 pointers - Jan scoring 40 points; Stu Williams had a 5 pointer birdie at the 7th; Gail Williams had some good pars; Shaun Brownlow scored a couple of birdies; Sheila Williams had some good pars.
