Golf - Tuesday 5th August 2014

We had a beautiful day to play golf today.  Blue Sky and Sunshine - just as we like it with the course in good condition.  I came in to make up the numbers for a single stroke event and look what happened - I won the day - so it was well worth the effort.

My playing partners were Faye Levenspiel and Lea Southon and they brought me home very well - both of them were on the 12th green for one and both beat the existing A Grade player for nearest the pin, but unfortunately it was only counted for Div 1.  Lea was close to being in Eagles Nest territory currently worth 60 odd balls.

The Golf Event of the day was a Ladies Single Stroke - 6th Round of the WGNSW Medal and Club Medal.

We had 45 starters.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me:  Chris Dekker had a birdie on the 6th; Sandy Laybutt had two pars; Lea Southon was on the 12th for one; Faye Levenspiel was on the 12th for one; my highlight was winning the day and the Monthly Medal, putting better than normal, parring the 15th and 16th and winning the raffle.

I have had a lost property report - a solid Sterling Silver hinged bracelet has been lost somewhere on the course.  Anyone finding it - or part thereof should it be broken please hand it in to the office regardless of the condition as the bracelet has great sentimental value to its owner.
