We had the most perfect day for golf today - here it is in early June and we are still able to play in shorts and a tee shirt.

The Golf Event of the day was the Ladies Annual President Vs Captain Day which was played as an American Foursomes.

We had 68 starters.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me:  Sheena Asken had a lovely with Robyn Johnston who played very steady golf; Merran Adams hit a great shot onto the 4th green from the top of the hill; Kath Payn was a nice steady putter; Rhonda Austen got out of some challenging places that Jan put her; my highlights were getting the last three holes in one putt, getting out of the bunker on the 18th in one and enjoying good company.  

Another highlight today was the celebration of Fay Bailey's 70th birthday at the club after golf. Congratulations Fay!
