We all enjoyed a Bert & Annie Brink inspired evening to raise funds to help our future Trainee Pro's to fulfil their dreams of reaching Professional status.
Bert & Annie first started the fund to assist Tom Ballard who has recently graduated and is now a professional at our club. Tom appreciated the help he got to cover some of his training costs and is now repaying by relaying his expertise into practice at the club - most recently helping out our Ladies Pennants Teams with some good advice at their practice day.
The evening raised in excess of $1,300 which was a great result. Among those supporting Members attending the evening were Graham & Rae Brown, Nigel & Sheena Asken, Kerry & Norma Cubis, Scott Cubis, Tom Ballard, Andrew Potter, Mark & Anne Stimpson, Doug & Robin Incoll, Ron & Lynn Puiatti, Col & Lauren Matterson, George & Vicki Foster, Bruce & Leanne Binns, Grant & Kerry Williams, Jon & Elly Van Den Berg, Lorraine Bignall, Georgina Lamb, Peter & Jan Martin. (my apologies to anyone I may have missed)
Annie, Bert & their family catered for all of the delicious food and supplied drinks for everyone including exotic cocktails. Our congratulations and thanks to them for their efforts in making the evening so successful.
Some of the boys looked very dapper in their bow ties, cravats and jackets while the girls shone with high fashion for this "black Tie" event.
Well done to everyone who participated in this worthy cause.
