F-Troop - Monday 10th February 2014

It was a great day for f-Troop work with a bit of cloud cover to keep the day pleasant for working.

We had 12 F-Troopers on duty and got some good tasks done. We had Duncan Dyer, Geoff Bridge, Trevor Harrison, Don Nicholls, Martin Gallagher, Garry Trigg, Rob Benson, Peter Martin, Nigel Asken,  Di Beechey, Anne Burgess and Jan Martin.

The Tree gang of Duncan Dyer, Geoff Bridge, Trevor Harrison, Don Nicholls and Martin Gallagher removed dangerous branches from trees in the back parking area and front street, removed a dead tree from the back of the 14th and trimmed low branches from the tree at the 6th tee.

Rob Benson & Garry Trigg were on pick up duty and also trimmed the Lilly Pilly at the 6th Tee.

Peter Martin watered the Tibouchinas on the 2nd fairway and repaired taps and watering systems in the gardens.

Nigel Asken did some more good work pulling weeds out of the dam at the 13th.

Di Beechey cleaned up the car park and underneath the clubhouse, helped Rob & Garry trimming the Lilly Pilly at the 10th and watered the gardens.

Anne Burgess watered the gardens in the BBQ area and around the clubhouse as well as checking Camellia Way.

I gave the F-Troop cart and trailer a workout and it passed with flying colours.  At the 14th cleaning the Bush Toilets, watering, weeding and raking the gardens there, watered the bike garden on the 3rd and the jasmine at the 9th ladies tee, cleaned up the Ladies 3rd Tee, trimmed the Agapanthus at the garden at the 2nd Tee, removed some more grasses from the Front Street Garden, cleaned up at the 1st and 10th tee and the cleaned the water feature.

We had some giant muffins for morning tea which we all appreciated - Thanks Chef John!

YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
