Just as we thought the wind brought down the Marquee yesterday. F-Troop to the rescue early this morning and they had the Marquee all back in order in short time with a bit of help from their friends. All is well and ready for tonight's Raffle and Badge Draw.
We had a lovely balmy evening (wind free) for all our Members to enjoy and at last report all was going well.
The Marquee was looking great and we did have time for a little wine tasting before we had to leave for another busy social evening. We did speak with some visitors from Shelly Beach who were enjoying the ambiance of the Marquee and the view over the golf course after a game of late afternoon golf and they were happy with their day at Gosford Golf Club.
The Golf Event of the day was a Medley Single Stableford.
We had 69 starters with 12 visitors from Mangrove Mountain, Massey Park, PGA, Shelly Beach, Shoalhaven Ex Servicemen's GC, Singleton and South West Rocks.
