The late summer has made it very humid out on the course. Temperatures reached 31 degrees and the little bit of breeze that was out there was very welcome.
My playing partners were Helen Stuart & Lea Southon and we had a good day enjoying some highlights and scrambling through some of the holes. Our main highlight was Lea's good drive to the 8th when she got her name on the nearest the pin card.
The Golf Event of the day was a Ladies Single Stableford + Vets in conjunction. 1st Round of the CCWGA Brooch.
We had 74 starters.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Chris Dekker had 40 points with 23 points on the back 9 and a birdie on the 14th; Sharon Anderson had a birdie gobbler on the 6th; Kay Frewin had a 3 pointer on the 18th; Carolyn Buttsworth had a birdie on the 14th and won nearest the pin; Lyn Bates had 4/4 on the 17th; Kath Payn had a par on the 10th; Doon Jansen parred the 18th; Rosalie Dyer had some nice 3 pointers; Dawn Tromp had a birdie on the 6th; Doreen Vines got 30 points; Kath Small found Jan Martin's 9 iron on the 18th green; Helen Stuart almost had no wipes; Lea Southon had a good drive at the 8th; my highlight was having no wipes.
