It was good to have a sunny day to enjoy our golf although it got a little steamy out there with the moisture still in the ground. My playing partners were Doreen Trigg and Nan Richards and we had a fun day on the village green - our scores were not wonderful but good enough on the day to get two runner ups and a nearest the pin so we did have some highlights.
The Golf Event of the day was a Ladies Single Stableford
We had 66 starters with one visitor - Helen Potter's cousin from Ireland - Maire Devaney.
