What a miserable golf day we have had. The course was open - but who would want to play in this weather! We have had 22 mils of rain from 9.00am this morning after some very heavy downpours yesterday and overnight.
The forecast says that it is improving tomorrow at some stage and the predicted temperature is 30 degrees. As I write this it is pouring rain with more expected overnight so things are looking glum.
We do of course have the eternal optimists and if the course drains as well as it has done - who knows what may happen tomorrow. Check with the Pro Shop in the morning for a new update on the state of the course.
