We had a lovely day for golf - it was still very warm but not nearly as hot as yesterday & we were lucky enough to have a nice light breeze to keep us comfortable.
My playing partners today were Kath Payn, Rosalie Dyer & Yvonne Wilson and we had a good day on the village green. We did have some good highlights along the way.
The Golf Event of the day was a Ladies Team Stableford - 2 scores to count.
We had 67 starters.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY - as reported to me: Elly Van Den Berg had a birdie at the 14th (close to a hole in one) and there were no nearest the pins; Annie Brink had 4/4; Kath Payn had five 3 pointers; Yvonne Wilson did some good putting and had 3 pointers at the 16th and 17th; Rosalie Dyer parred the 1st and the 2nd and had a total of six 3 pointers; Wendy Stapleton had 3 birdies & two gobbler chip ins; Robin Incoll had a chip in 3/4 at the 15th; Linda Rankin had a chip in on the 17th; Mary Beard & Ilene Major had some good 3 pointer shots; Michelle McGrath had 1 over par scoring 4 birdies and two gobblers including a sandy at the 17th into the hole - Michelle helped out her 3 woman team of Maggie Minjoy & Rae Brown; Rosemary Cohen had four 3 pointers in a row and seven in total; Allison Guthrie had two 4 pointers including a birdie at the 5th and a par at the 7th; my highlight was sinking a few good putts and getting a couple of 3 pointers when needed.
Following the Golf Presentation in the Sunset Room the LADIES 2011 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING was held.
