F-Troop - Monday 7th November 2011

F-Troop had a massive day today - working in the heat and taking on a clean up of the side entrance to the club which was a huge job removing dangerous branches overhanging the car park, cleaning up the drain, raking the front car park and BBQ area, restoring the bottle bay and the delivery bay to a respectable state.

We had 14 starters which was a huge help on such a hot day.  Martin Gallagher, Duncan Dyer, Geoff Bridge, Garry Trigg, Peter Martin, Bruce White, Rob Benson, Sam Knox, John Coddington, Di Beechey, Anne Burgess, Jan Walker, Georgina Lamb and Jan Martin reported for duty which was much appreciated as we had an all hands on deck project with the side entrance to the club being our target for today.

The Vets were out on the course so we were restricted with our on-course projects.

Everyone chipped in worked hard which led us to our WELL EARNED morning tea of mini muffins and fruit pastries.  Thank you Chef John!

I am not sure how many tractor and ute loads we took to the dump area - but it seemed a lot.

We also managed to create some nice floral decorations for the club foyer out of our club gardens this morning.

YES!  WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
