We had a strong wind blowing today & the course was still wet from the recent rain which made the going a bit hard. The bonus from the wind over the next couple of days will be a drier course.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Val Anderson had a birdie on the 8th; Elly Van Den Berg scored 6 Plus points; Marianne Lanham had a birdie on the 5th; Elizabeth McNamara chipped in with her 9 iron for a par on the 9th; Team of Debbie Grinham, Rhonda Robertson & Judy Verlander putted well; Margaret Davidson had a gobbler on the 8th for a plus; Anne Burke had 5 pluses; Cheryl Davidson had pluses on the last 4 holes; Carol Farrell chipped in on the 6th for a plus after putting her drive in the water; Leonie Casey putted in off the green on the 1st; Helen Potter had a birdie on the 8th; Glennis English was good support crew for her team. I did not play today as my priority was 150 roses to be pruned.
