Hmmmmmmmm! Rain was relentless all day today. I understand that we have received 27.4 mm since 9.00am this morning and something like 140 mm for the month to date. Unbelievable, considering our course was trying to dry out from the rain in June!
The course was closed all day as it has had no chance to recover. We had lunch at the club today and looking out from the Sunset Room showed overflowing dams and waterlogged fairways and greens.
The only positive thing I can find to say is that our dams are full which takes the worry out of our water supply and there were a lot of happy ducks enjoying the conditions!
