We had a fine and sunny day for golf today but the course was still wet from last week's rain - No carts were allowed & we had preferred lies through the green.
The Golf Event of the day was a Team Stableford 1 X 2 X 3 (Must be one lady per team) + Single Stableford for Men and Ladies.
We had 74 starters with 8 visitors from Mangrove Mountain, Royal Aust. Engineers, Scone, Toukley & Wyong.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Leonie Casey had a gobbler 2/4 on the 5th; Fred McGlynn sank a 50 foot putt on the 3rd; Luke McGlynn had a birdie on the 10th whilst playing with a self inflicted illness; Elly Van Den Berg had 5/4 on the 9th; Vicki Foster chipped in for 2/4 and had a gobbler 4/3 on the 17th; George Foster had a birdie on the 15th and he & Peter Laybutt beat the girls for the keno ticket; Peter Laybutt had a birdie on the 4th; Col Matterson had a par round with birdies at the 4th, 7th & 15th; Rae Brown had a 4 pointer on the 8th; somebody had 4/4 on the 1st & I forgot to write down the name (sorry about that).
We did not play today because we were still in holiday melt down but it was lovely to see the sunshine.
Captain Mark Stimpson presented Graham & Rae Brown with their District Awards for the District Foursomes Championship 2011. Congratulations Graham & Rae on a great win.
