Another idyllic day in the Swan Valley playing golf on the Ellenbrook Course at The Vines Resort, WA. We had a lovely day with Mark Stimpson & Col Kelly both coming in with 42 points. This is the last day of our group golf games for this holiday. Col Kelly & Alice Diamond were declared the overall champions of the golf tour and they played some very nice golf to earn those titles.
We had a wonderful farewell dinner for Col & Alice at the CaffeItalia Ristorante Pizzeria at 251 Hay Street, East Perth. We recommend this restaurant for anyone visiting Perth. We had a lovely meal with great service. Col & Alice are flying home tomorrow and we have a few more days here before catching the Indian Pacific Home to Sydney.
I understand that a weather change is due in Perth tomorrow so we were very lucky to get so much good weather while we have been touring and playing golf.
The Golf Event of the day at Gosford was a Men's Single Stableford + Teams Event.
We had 163 starters with 7 visitors from Overseas, Ashlar, Ballina, Everglades, Ocean Shores & Shelly Beach.
