We had another lovely day for golf although it got a little warm towards the middle of the day. My playing partners today were Yvonne Cumming and Lynda Hartley & they were great company. We had some good highlights between us with Lynda coming in runner up in her division & I won nearest the pin at the 8th.
The Event of the day was a Ladies Single Par and we had 67 starters.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY: as reported to me: Norma Cubis had 5 plus points; Marianne Lanham had a birdie on the 14th; Chris Shaw had a birdie on the 15th; Yvonne Cumming scored well on the back 9; Lynda Hartley had a double plus on the 8th; Felicity Mead had a birdie on the 16th; Jan Walker parred the 1st and the 13th; Kay Adams had plus 4 playing very consistently; Margaret Pratt had a nice steady game; Doris Morris was a much improved par player today; Margaret Davidson played a nice game to square; Nerida Hancock had two double plus points; Kay Frewin had 6 plus points; Rita Gilmore had 4 plus points; Leonie Casey, Glennis English & Robin Incoll were good players out of luck; Sharon Anderson had 5 plus points; Lynn Puiatti had a 5/double plus on the 10th; Judy Verlander had a birdie on the 13th; Helen Broadbent was consistent & was happy to be back playing golf at Gosford; my highlight was driving to the green on the 8th & winning nearest the pin in my division.
