Considering that we are a long way into March it was an exceptionally hot day out on the course & there was very little relief from any breeze. Our playing partners were Robbie & Robin Brann & we had a top day on the village green. We had plenty of highlights between us all & we all combined very well. Robbie Brann did some outstanding shots to the green, Robin backed up with some great drives and fairway shots and we managed to get four birdies during the day. We we were excited to come in runners up in the Ambrose which made our day.
Prior to going to golf today we had some quality time with our grandson Joel & took him to the railway to see the trains which earned us a lot of points. (Photo attached)
The Golf Event of the day was a 4 Person "Las Vegas" Ambrose.
We had 72 starters with 3 visitors from Massey Park, Riverside Oaks & Roseville.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY as reported to me: Robbie Brann had a great 3 wood shot to the 3rd green; Robin Brann put a great shot on the green at the 4th from Robbie's drive; Peter Martin sank some valuable putts; The team of Wally Johnston, Robyn Johnston, Duncan Dyer & Rosalie Dyer had a birdie on the 1st hole; The team of Clyde Cruickshanks, Lyn Cruickshanks, Ron Dekker & Chris Dekker had birdies on the 1st, 15th & 18th; Wally Robertson, Rhonda Robertson, Graham Brown & Rae Brown had lots of pars; Pauline Norman, Michael Norman, Col Matterson & Lauren Matterson had 4 birdies; Leanne Moore had a birdie putt on the 2nd; Yvonne Wilson had a gobbler at the 15th; Des Wilson's highlight was that the team had all had their mandatory drives by the 16th; Anne Stimpson & Lynn Puiatti had a birdie on the 5th - and held the boys up all day - the team getting 5 birdies; The team of Mark Douglas, Lyn Douglas, Col Adams & Kay Adams had birdies at the 2nd and the 18th - the girls saved the boys; my highlight was a sandie shot out of the back of the bunker at the 13th to save a shot for the team.
