F-Troop - Monday 24th January 2011

While Peter & I were having some R & R t Byron Bay F-Troopers carried on regardless achieving some great work in our absence.
We had 13 F-Troopers working hard all morning. Martin, Gallagher, Duncan Dyer, Geoff Bridge, George Foster, Garry Trigg, Warren Gray, Bruce White, John Coddington, Noel Fenning,Mark Stimpson, Di Beechey, Anne Burgess and Jan Walker all earned their morning tea.
Di Beechey, Jan Walker and Anne Burgess cleaned up the BBQ area through to the wedding garden. Anne Burgess and Di Beachey cleaned out the ponds at the wedding garden.
Noel Fenning with the help of John Coddington did a fantastic job re-marking the parking spots (twice) in three of the car parks and this time thankfully we did not have any rain to wash it off.
Warren Gray did a morning shift on the rough cutter.
Garry Trigg and Bruce White did the rubbish pick up around the course.
Martin Gallagher, Duncan Dyer, Geoff Bridge, Kerry Cubis and George Foster did tree trimming on the second fairway.
I believe that the weather has been very hot at home - so well done F-troopers - you have all earned a gold star.
We have done the last of the rogue grass poisoning for the season to give the course time to recover before winter. Our thanks to everyone that has volunteered their time for this project and many thanks to Mark Stimpson for supervising the teams.
There is no wonder we can say with confidence.....
YES! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
My thanks to Martin Gallagher for details and photos for the report..
