The Official Opening of the Pro Shop was one big celebration night held in the Wedding Garden on a most beautiful evening. When the night in the Wedding Garden was first announced I did have concerns about whether it would match the standard set on the Hawaiian Night held in the Wedding Garden last year. I had no need for concern. The afternoon and evening were perfect for the 9 hole Ambrose competition which was held preceeding the celebrations and the evening in the garden was balmy and a perfect setting for the Friday night raffles and badge draw.
The big badge draw did not go off as the Member drawn was not in attendance. There was a further draw for $500 which, after many false alarms & close calls, was won by Cyril Daly who was in attendance.
For the sake of getting all these photos on the blog tonight I have not taken the long process of identifying all of the photos. I will add the highlights of the day's golf tomorrow when time permits.
Congratulations to the Board of Directors and the staff for organising & running such a fantastic night. Congratulations to Scott Cubis & the Pro Shop staff for their efforts in providing us with such a great Pro Shop which all of the Members really appreciate.
The Members showed the strength of their support and the day was a great success.

There is going to be another Friday Evening in the Wedding Garden on the 17th December 2010 so we are hoping for a repeat of the beautiful summer weather that we enjoyed today.
